You will be contacted by phone and/or email within 24 hours to have a discussion about how Wye River Upper School can accommodate your student's needs. Does WRUS have a priority deadline for admission?
Yes. Wye River Upper School's priority deadline for admission is February 15th. We accept applications for all grades with open spaces throughout the year. Families interested in financial aid and transportation are especially encouraged to apply before February 15th, as financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. For families who are interested in transferring mid-year, keep in mind that we issue a credit based on transcripts. Wye River Upper School transfer student tuition is prorated based on the student’s date of entry.
Steps In Our Application Process
Shadow Day
Experience a typical day at WRUS. Rotate through a full day's class schedule and interact with students.
Nothing can give you a better sense of WRUS than visiting our campus.
We invite families to tour our school, see classes in action, and speak with our faculty and staff. Families who wish to apply after visiting will be given access to our online application portal, where you will find an electronic application form, links for teacher recommendations, and a safe place to upload other supporting documents such as education testing. After applying, we will invite your students to spend a Shadow Day with us, where they will rotate through a typical school day schedule.
Wye River Upper School offers flexible tuition payments and need-based financial aid. Financial aid applications are assessed upon receipt of a signed contract, contingent upon receipt of financial aid. For more information, visit our tuition and financial aid page.
