What is included in tuition?
Tuition covers all academic and program costs at Wye River Upper School, including the educational programming and experiences students participate in throughout the school year.

What additional expenses should we be aware of?
Families should plan for additional expenses such as school transportation, which is available for an additional fee, and a laptop for the student to use for schoolwork. Families are also responsible for school supplies, meals, and any optional activities, trips, or experiences that may have an additional cost.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Families may choose a 10-month payment plan to spread tuition payments throughout the school year. Additional details about payment schedules and enrollment in the payment plan are provided during the enrollment process.

Financial Aid
Tuition assistance is currently reserved for high school students and is unavailable to students entering 8th grade. Financial aid applications are reviewed based on priority deadlines and then on a rolling basis contingent on funding availability.
Do I need to complete the financial aid application every year?
Yes. Families must complete a new financial aid application each year. Financial circumstances can change from year to year, so submitting an application annually allows us to review your family’s current financial situation and determine eligibility for that school year.

Do both parents need to complete the financial aid application if they are divorced or separated?
Yes. In most cases, both parents are required to provide financial information, even if they are divorced or separated. Both parents remain legally and financially responsible for their student’s education, and financial aid is determined using the required information from both households.

How will I know how much financial aid my family was awarded?
Your financial aid award will be reflected on your school enrollment contract. Once contracts are available, you will be able to see the amount of financial aid awarded to your family and your resulting tuition obligation.
