Front Desk Manager, Part-time
Position Description:
The Front Desk Manager performs various administrative tasks supporting the Head of School and serving as the liaison between students, staff and parents.
The Front Desk Manager is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and can multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires a person who is a self-starter and able to work independently within the framework of assigned projects. The ability to maintain confidential information with a high level of sensitivity and discretion is a requirement. The Front Desk Manager must possess exceptional professional communication skills, tact, and judgment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Create a positive first impression for all stakeholders

Serve as the gatekeeper for general school information and inquiries

Manage the reception area, greeting visitors, and covering phones

Maintain accurate attendance and medical records of students

Update family information in LMS as needed

Record Service Learning Hours in LMS

Administrator for REMIND 101
-
Coordinate with school nurse and manage student medication
-
Distribute student medication and record distribution of medicine
-
Ensure information is relayed to school community via a variety of mediums in a timely and congenial manner

Schedule and manage invites for video conferencing
-
Promptly respond to transcripts and records release requests
-
Schedule and organize school picture day

Support the Administrative staff with tasks as assigned
In addition, the Front Desk Manager will demonstrate proficiency in the following competencies:

Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and see assignments through to completion

Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Proficient with Zoom, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Suites; ability to learn new technological platforms as necessary

Ability to maintain professional boundaries concerning the handling of privileged information

Ability to work an occasional evening, weekend, or early morning
