Our curriculum leads to a high school diploma approved by the Maryland State Department of Education.

Students and alum have come from 12 counties across the region.
Approximately half our students come from the Eastern Shore and half come from west of the Bay.
The School established its roots on the Chesapeake College Campus, leasing classroom and athletic space until 2014.
We maintain a strong relationship with Chesapeake College, and in the area of environmental studies have expanded into a relationship with Washington College in Chestertown.
In August 2014, Wye River moved to its newly renovated home - the former Maryland National Guard Armory in Centreville, Maryland.

Wye River is a non-profit-organization with 501(c)(3) status.
Applications are accepted year-round; tuition is prorated based on student start date.
Wye River promotes dual enrollment for eligible juniors and seniors, enabling them to start earning college credits while still in high school.
College and postsecondary advising is offered throughout a student’s four years.
- The majority of Wye River graduates attend 2 year and 4 year colleges. Our students have also found success in Gap Year Programs, Vocational Schools, the Military, the Coast Guard and Americorp.
