We thank our many donors...

Our donors have supported each of our graduating classes since 2004!

Wye River Upper School has awarded over $100,000 in  financial aid funds every year for the past five years.  These funds are garnered through the direct support of area foundations who donate cash to be distributed to deserving students.  Other donors provide us with funds to improve our program, including arts and music grants and college advising programs.

The need is constant and increasing with the economy. Most of our students are not those whose families have planned for an independent school education; rather they realize they must have this education for the well being of their student and family.

There are over fifteen foundations and hundreds of private donors who support our work and are changing the lives of our students.  With their help, young adults are succeeding in school instead of failing; attending college and gaining employment instead of dropping out.  Without the financial support of many foundations and private donors, we could not make this community a better one in which to live and work.  We thank the following foundations for their past and current support:

Anonymous • The Ametek Foundation • Best Buy Foundation • The Leonard Fund • Maryland State Arts Council •The May Foundation • The Merriewold Trust • Mid-Shore Community Foundation • The Moore Family Fund • Queen Anne's County Arts Council •The Salmon Foundation • The Sener/Johnston Family Fund •The Seraph Foundation • Target Foundation The Todd FundWye River Upper School Parent's Association

Whether you are a foundation representative or a private donor, your donation will make a difference and will be very well spent. Information regarding our non-profit status and financial standing can be found at The Foundation Center.  If you would like to help us change the direction of a young person's life, please contact Chrissy Aull, Executive Director, Wye River Upper School.
