About Us

Wye River Upper School is a non-profit, college-preparatory, independent high school for grades 9-12. We serve bright students challenged by ADHD, dyslexia, and other unique learning styles, as well as students who may benefit from structure, low student/teacher ratios and creative teaching strategies. Successful coursework leads to a Maryland high school diploma. WRUS is approved as a nonpublic education program: secondary school, grades 9-12, Certificate No. 3840.

We are located at 316 S. Commerce Street in Centreville, Maryland in the newly renovated armory building. We provide transportation to Chesapeake College so that our students can enjoy the benefits of dual enrollment.

Just 15 minutes from the Bay Bridge, we offer a daily shuttle bus service between our campus and various stops in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Wye River Upper School is a 501(c) 3 corporation.

Privacy Statement: Wye River Upper School gives special attention to protecting and maintaining all personal information gathered from our families and all academic records of our students. We do not store any credit card information that is provided for tuition or event payments.
